I shared my thoughts on Valentine’s Day is for families … well, Saturday my son saw me baking a chocolate cake and he kept trying to guess what the cake was for. Since he didn’t ask quite the right question and he didn’t see it decorated, he didn’t guess the answer.
This morning, he got up and asked again and this time, I asked if he’d looked at the cake …. “oh, Happy Valentine’s Day, mom!”
I was going to make him pancakes for breakfast but the first words from my daughter when she came downstairs were, “mmmh, cake for breakfast.” So cake it was!

I believe stories have the power to change the world, opening us up to new possibilities and compassion for our fellow beings.
I believe by sharing our divorce stories we can help each other, make the process of ending your marriage less traumatic for others, create a greater acceptance for divorce and most importantly do our very best for our children.
