Most people facing the end of their marriage need divorce support and yet going through divorce can be very isolating.
If you’re contemplating the decision, then you may well be very guarded in your conversations with friends and family and you may become increasingly withdrawn.
If you and your spouse are talking about divorce, you may be keeping it private because you don’t want rumors to get back to your children or perhaps you’re concerned that if you decide to stay together sharing details about your marital problems will adversely affect some of your friendships.
If you’ve decided to divorce, you may be keeping a low profile feeling embarrassed, awkward or simply wanting to preserve some privacy.
Regardless, there’s one step you can take that will help you through this transition and it doesn’t involve hiring an expert who is going to charge you by the hour. I recommend you create your personal support team. You can read more about this in my article, The Key To Bethenny Frankel’s Divorce which was recently published on Your Tango.
There’s also a step-by-step guide in my Visioning Your Life After Divorce workbook which you can download at no charge when you subscribe to my newsletter.
